The lack of resolution between the producers and the WGA has put a bit of a damper on awards season for me, but I still managed to muster some excitement for the announcement of the big grandaddy of movie award nominations, the Oscars.

Tonight for dinner, casapazzo and I went to Mandu, a Korean restaurant on 18th I've been wanting to try for quite awhile. I went to the gym! Really! I did about 40 minutes on the elliptical, moderate speed. I threw in a couple of sprints. I didn't feel like death after either. I'm not at the level I was this summer when I was going almost daily, but I'm not as deadly out of shape as I feared I would be. It's rainy and miserable out. I'm tired and sore. I took a bath, bundled up in a robe, and decided to fire up a favorite childhood movie.
